Thanks for the feedback! We're sorry to hear that the OtterBox Commuter is a bit too slippery for your comfort level! We certainly weren’t out to cause any precarious situations, but rather create a streamlined design with ease-of-use for clothing pockets, etc. You may be more interested in our Defender case. It has a silicone slip cover on the outside of the case that will give you a better grip. Check out the link below for more information on that case. Poor build for Otterbox

Nope, just a poor design. The lower portion of the hard case by the home button will always Crack and break off. It's happened twice from normal use.
