Near the end of the product's warranty, I was having difficulty pressing a button through the cover and the Otterbox people replaced it - no questions- no hassle. My son bought this one for me. So far- so good!

My last Droid, which I keep with me at all times, was actually in an automobile lift gate hinge when the door was attempted to be closed. The OtterBox has a slight permanent crease. However the phone remained undamaged!

So far so good. I've dropped it several times, including one fall similar to the one that cracked my previous screen, and the screen is still intact. It might also be a good idea to buy a ballistic screen protector.
