Went to Best Buy in Westbury. In fairness to the Best Buy sales laent he was swamped soI didnt ask the question on my mind, "Will an otter box protect tge screen of my samsung s5?" Three days after the purchase, the screen cracked. The item is an overpriced piece if plastic.

Makes one handed operation difficult. I am using just the rubber first layer to be able to grip properly. Also, with second hard cover installed, gives sound from the speaker distorted.

This is due to the wireless charging back makes a bulge in the back of the phone preventing other cases from fitting.

The Defender case I had on my Galaxy S3 was very durable, but the outer rubber skin seems to expand over time and falls off. It was replaced 3 times in two years. I tried the Commuter case for my S5, but found it wasn't comfortable to hold, so I returned it.
