We’re sorry that the Commuter is a bit too slippery for your comfort level. We certainly weren’t out to cause any perilous predicaments, but rather create a streamlined design with ease-of-use for clothing pockets, etc.
As far as it being too bulky, perhaps you would be more interested in the Symmetry case. It does have a similar grip set up but it is slimmer.
