I have tryed 2 with no sucess. Thus Relegating the case to marginally better than the drug store/mall kiosk cases.

We're bummed to hear that you're feeling disappointed in the lack of an included screen protector with the Galaxy S8+ Commuter series. Historically, the Commuter has never come with any sort of built-in screen protection, and we apologize for the confusion. Additionally, we believe that customers will have the best interaction with the curved display via either direct contact or use of a separately-applied screen protector.
That being said, our brilliant engineers designed a magnificent tempered glass option, called the Alpha Glass. We would recommend using this screen protector with our cases, as this glass is designed specifically to work with OtterBox cases. We are unable to test our products with third-party accessories, so we unfortunately cannot guarantee 100% compatibility with any screen protectors other than the Alpha Glass.
