While there would be a slight trade-off with the bulk of the case, the Defender has rubber silicone that wraps around the back, making it easier to hold. This metro case was ideal That it was not too bulky like some of the other cases out there that offer this kind of . I also wanted a case that I can remove quickly enough so I could connect my phone to The gear VR headset. This case in combination with the invisashield screen protection is perfect.

But because I bought a new phone and drop my phones a lot, i figured I might as well get one while there. I chose this one because it was slim. it didn't make my phone bulkier and it has good edge protection. Plus, it was just a simple black one.

My general wear and tear is average at best, so it's somewhat disappointing that I can't get more use out of it before getting a new one.

Slim, easy to fit into back pockets (even with a popsocket) nice color choices. Ive dropped my phone on the sidewalk many times and its done its job very well

And, when u get a new S8+, why risk it. I lik3 the case, but is am more of a Platinium guy. Which, was the case of choice, for my last 2 phones. I'm just not a fan of the rubber buttons. Seem clunky and awkward. I'm sure I will get used to it, though.
