We perform extensive tests on the Commuter to ensure that it will meet our high standards of protection, but unfortunately, every drop is subject to a multitude of variables, some of which are beyond our control, and we are unable to guarantee that all exposure to risk will be eliminated through the use of our cases.
Although our warranty cannot be extended to your wife's phone, we would very much like to send her a new OtterBox so that she can get a fresh start once her Galaxy S8+ has been repaired.
