When I upgraded to the S8, there was no question what protection I would secure. The commuter fits perfectly, allows edge access fully and does not increase the outside dimensions appreciably. Just enough to provide protection

Now have a Galaxy S8 (the one that has the screen that is prone to breaking). I've dropped my phone probably a half dozen times (getting old and, after the pucker release, found that the phone came through unscathed.
