The majority of the case is a plastic backing so it slides easily out of your hand if you aren't careful. I have dropped my phone more in the first month of having it than I did with the last two years with my other phone and phone case. Also, it doesn't come with a screen protector so you have to pay even more for something else. The only real good thing about this case is it seems to stand up to frequent drops, maybe I should be a product quality tester...

This is definitely strange, especially since the Commuter is usually very smooth and, when laid with the back on a flat surface, it should sit flush.
