Side of case next to camera broke because its so thin and poorly designed. Lifetime Warranty is worthless because they now charge shipping and handling $9.99 (no longer free replacement) on their junk cases, case new was $22.00. No better than the cheap plastic ones at retailers.

Between that and what sounds like a cracked outer shell, it sure does sound like it's time for a brand-new warranty replacement Commuter Series case to restore maximum protection. Not Comfortable to hold

I have always been happy with OtterBoxes, but I do not like the texture of it as it is rough on my fingers when holding for extended periods of time (i.e. social media or playing games).

Posted .Thanks for the heads-up on the uncomfortable experience you've had with the Commuter Series case. If that hard plastic outer shell isn't working out for you and your fingers, you might prefer our Symmetry Series, as that one has synthetic rubber edges.

Con: Smooth plastic with no rubber grip on the side. Be wary when using this phone, as it'll slip out of your hand.
