I use the iPad Mini 4 for STEM programming with youth and adults and to me, the OtterBox Defender series is an ABSOLUTE must have! It is durable and adds a degree of protection that is worth the price of the iPad itself! If you are in an environment where there is a possibility of more than delicate treatment of electronic devices, you have to have an OtterBox!

We purchased the Otterbox Defender case for our son's iPad Mini 4. He through our old iPad and it broke and so when we bought a new iPad we made sure we put an Otterbox on it. We use Otterbox Defender cases for our phones and knew it could withstand a toddler. Very pleased! He's thrown it a few times and dropped it by accident and it's still going strong! :)

Five star for protection but at the expense of extra weight. If you don't mind the extra weight it's one of the best cases for all-around protection. 1 star off for extra weight only.

It does a great job protecting the iPad, and still allowing me to use the buttons with ease. I love the screen shield it has built in, just be very careful as you can get dust stuck between the iPad screen and the shield and it can be annoying. The great thing is, you can always take it apart and clean it off. I have the same type of case for my iPhone, very happy with it.

We bought for our daughters Ipad Mini and it works great. All the important ports are uncovered and that is very nice to hear the speakers.

Great iPad protector, easy to assemble and is light weight

I ordered this case before i even received the tablet. I never use these items or phones without a good case and this is the best! I know some people do not like the extra bulk but i actually prefer it because it makes it easier for me to hold onto. If my tablet was to fall i am quite sure it will be 100% safe. I have one for my large pro as well.

Otterboxes have never failed me, ever. They’re on every Apple product we own (8, I believe). I’m sure there are other fine options out there, but I subscribe to the “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” philosophy. These things are made to last, fit like a glove, and compliment the product rather than make it seem in the way. I highly recommend Otterbox!

Easy to put on and off, protects iPad and clean look.

When I bought my first iPad I purchased an Otterbox case. It held up well, so when I recently purchased an iPad Mini 4, I bought another Otterbox case.

The case is great, durable and protective for my son's new Ipad mini.

I love otterbox products and have always found them to do a good job. My only issue with this one (and it is very minor) is that they changed the design so that the cover for the port where you plug in to charge has been reversed making it more cumbersome and harder to open. Otherwise great product.

The Otterbox defender is the very top in products. I have had my case on my ipad mini since the day I purchased it. The other day, I slid it under my seat and forgot that there was a sharp edge and when I pulled it out and opened the case to check and make sure it was okay, the mini was perfect and the otterbox doesn't even have a scratch on it.

We bought this for an iPad Mini that we use for credit card payments at craft sales. It has now survived a few short drops (1-3 feet; customers handing the iPad back after signing). The case is thick enough to block our credit card swipe adapter so we did have to buy an extension piece, but other than that it has been great.

Fits nice. Protects good even when my 2 year old drops it.

This Otter Box case is the perfect case for what I needed when it came to protecting my iPad Mini 4. The mini is used to run “ForeFlight”, a pilot APP for better information before, during, and after a flight. It’s rugged protection looks right a home in the plane right next to the professional avionics. Excellent product.
