I've owned this product for my other phone and it has saved my phone from several drops and most likely some costly damages and repairs. I bought this one for my young son's first phone and feel confident it will prevent any damage he might cause his phone.

Great protective case for iPad mini 4. Only issue that it is bulky & it's hard to get to some of the screen on the edges because of the case.

No matter how well your kid throws their iPad, it will land wrong eventually. Haha. My four year old can't destroy his or my iPad with Otter protection. It's a great case and I won't even open the box of a new phone or iPad without the product ready to go in the case.

Everyone knows about the strength of otter box cases. That is no surprise here with this one. My only reason for giving it 4 stars are the directions that come with how to open the case are horrendous. They do not match or make any sense with the actual product. My advice is to go on youtube and search the instructions. There is a great video there for this case (it's actually for a different ipad, but same defender series). It is sturdy though as my kids have dropped and cracked the screen with my old case twice.

You can beat Otterbox when it comes to protecting your devices, every single time I purchase an apple product, iPhone, iPad,etc, I immediately pic one of these up to keep my device protected.

For the most part, this case is great. It has a snug fit that offers excellent protection without unnecessary bulk. My only issues are minor ones. First, I enjoy the kickstand; however, with only 2 tilt settings, it is often difficult to get just the right angle. Second, the adapter plug is a pretty tight fit and will occasionally cause the charger to stop and start frequently if I don't push the charger in extra tight. Overall, I would definitely recommend, but it isn't without a few very minor flaws.

After removing the hard shield the soft cover took a while for me to safely open it once I got it to open and place my son’s iPad in there I can sense the security of that case. Well worth the investment.

always buy protection cases from Otterbox to protect all my apple devices. I tend to drop my devices. Consequently,I have never lost or broken any of my devices bec. of Otterbox cases.

I’ve purchase this case for my 5 year old’s Apple mini iPad and it’s very durable. Since having it, the iPad has fallen hard twice and it hasn’t broken. I would highly recommend purchasing this. Well worth the money.

Watched with horror as our 3yr old nephew tossed the iPad out the 2nd story window this summer. Amazingly everything still worked and the screen was not cracked (yes it only hit grass). Very impressed, well worth the $$ for our family!

I have otter defender on my phone and minipads have not decreased the amount of great falls out of my hands but have substantially increased the money in bank and time in life from the defender protecting my electronics from breakages and cracks and drowning in water ONLY DRAWBACK IS THE PLEXY GLASS COVERING SCREEN SCRATCHES EASY BUT DOES NOT UNSCRATCH SO EASILY. (Clean) NOR IS THERE A REPLACEMENT COVER SOLD SEPARATELY HAVE TO PURCHASE AN ENTIRE DEFENDER BOX.

I wanted to make sure my new iPad 4 was well protected and it came down to this Otterbox and a different competitor's case. I chose the Otterbox and I have no regrets. It's durable and tough and fits the new iPad perfectly. No regrets--it's perfect.

Got it price matched and it has held it’s own. Great for younger kids that tend to drop things. Only issue I had was with the film over the home button. I would definitely recommend it to help protect your kids iPad.

Purchased this to protect our kids iPad, Its has withstood so much abuse and its still getting the job done. When i remove the case to clean it the iPad still looks brand new. 100% recommend this product.

These cases are great overall, but there is just one downside recently experienced the same case but from a different purchase. If the small exposed plastics frame corner hits the ground just right it can transfer the shock through the case and the screen can shatter. This has only happened once out of the 6-8 case we have bought over the time so again great case but it is possible if the conditions are just right for it to fail.
