It has been great for that! Only down side is screen protector makes it hard to use finger print and touch screen is difficult to use.

A complain I have would be that sometimes it's too hard to hear on the phone and I have issues with phone calls. Taking off the case ALWAYS solves this issue.

However, the case looses its firm fitting after a period and starts to get slack and annoying. For the money paid it should be a better quality product.

The plastic screen cover makes it hard to utilize the touch screen and is very frustrating.
