We are sorry that the Defender case didn’t work out for you. That is strange that the case was hindering your touch screen experience. This is not typical and we would have been happy to have helped out if you still had the case.
As far as it being a tad too bulky for your comfort level, perhaps our Commuter or Symmetry cases would be a better fit. They are both slimmer than the Defender and still offer great protection.
