The lip is pretty tight and works great with a screen protector (which must be purchased separately). Overall we are very happy with them so far and would recommend them to others.

I have trouble turning my phone on and changing volume

As technology advances, we have seen some devices themselves become larger, which in turn slightly increases the space to cover and protect. Typically with a bit of use, those buttons become much easier to operate. He is very rough on his phone and has dropped it more than once. I would highly recommend the otter box it really protects the phone and is very sturdy

My last one lasted over 2 years, which is a long time with the work I do. Dropped many times with no damage to phone. Highly recommend

It works just fine, very functional and looks good. The covering shell is made from harder rubber...the old one was made from soft rubber. I haven't dropped it yet, so don't know if that makes a difference. Like it so far.
