Extensive testing is done on the design to ensure overheating will not be an issue, so we're just as surprised as you. Have you tested to see if your device is getting unusually warm without any case on? Also, is the device kept in any area that would allow for such things — in a bag that's in the line of direct sunlight or anything like that? It might be worth reaching out to Apple to see if they have any general suggestions on temperate regulation, and certainly, if the issue persists feel free to reach us via the official OtterBox website and we'll be glad to see if there is anything else we can think of to help.

That was stupid. I don't want to say the case shouldn't have the word pro in it...the PHONE shouldn't. So obviously I got the wrong one. I thought I was ordering the same case as last time.

Does NOT fit iPhone Xs as advertised

It won't engage the power button. And the back is made for an iphone 11 Pro so a large portion of the back is exposed as the camera on the 11 is different.
