After exhaustive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the advanced screen of your display was without the addition of a built-in screen protector. That being said, our tests have shown that this case provides the same level of drop protection as past Defender Series cases. Additionally, that case is totally compatible with Amplify and Alpha Glass if you're looking to add a level of protection never available with our older Defender Series design. Breakable!

Unfortunately, they are advertised not to break. But each time one falls and hits the floor the out case breaks. Thankfully, Otter Box will replace the broken item, but it is a hassle for an item that is not supposed to break!
