Glass cracked in two months. The slot protectors for the ipad 9 are covered by the back piece and are hard to remove. Worst case for a child! Skip. And it's just plastic anyway. I don't think this was would protect in a real drop. Otterbox is a lot of hype.

So not putting SCREENLESS in the title for all your previous consumers seems like a pretty awful decision....... on top of being insanely overpriced for what it is now.....

After exhaustive design testing, our engineers determined that the best way to interact with the advanced screen of your display was without the addition of a built-in screen protector. That being said, our tests have shown that this case provides the same level of drop protection as past Defender Series cases. Additionally, that case is totally compatible with Amplify and Alpha Glass if you're looking to add a level of protection never available with our older Defender Series design. Picked it up abs case is cracked. Called otter box and they didn’t think that it falling from that height cracked the case. Smh lost me for life

Our apologies for any confusion prior to purchase, but you are certainly correct that the Defender Pro Series for iPad (8th & 7th Gen) does not include a screen protector. Although such a component was a feature of previous Defender Series cases, we opted to go with a direct interaction with the display while still leaving open the option to pair the case with an OtterBox screen protector, such as the Amplify Glass, for total, 360-degree protection.
