Excellent protection all the way around - true to Otterbox best level of quality. Easy to put on and remove, stays put and cover locks in place and stays that way, even in a carry on bag.

This is a great product. It works so well that I can't even take it off to put on a screen protector. It was fast and simple to get this ordered and sent to me. Also, there was no problem doing a price match for the product against Amazon. The shipment was fast also.

Great fitment and not extremely bulky. Stand option is convenient if you want to carry around both pieces. Surface has just the right amount of grip. Would of been nice to include a screen protector for the price.

This particular model has an annoying hole in the middle of the back, but chances are, you're going to drop it on the corners or on the flat of its surface. The rigid outer shell is impact resistant. The softer rubber shell its for impact absorption. All in all, no complaints but it is kinda tough to take apart for the occasional cleaning.

if you are buying this ipad for a child , I believe this protector is a must have, the only thing I got a little upset with is that the screen cover is not included and it has to be bought separately now,

Best iPad case hands down. I love the durability and ease of use. You still have access to all the buttons and screen functions while knowing your iPad is safe and secure

Overall this is a great case with only a few things that I wish were different. I have used otterbox cases for several years and have always been pleased. I do not like how rough the edges feel on the four corners of the plastic piece that attaches. It feels rough and like it could scratch my hand if I am not careful. I also do not like that it does not have a screen protector built within the case but this is a personal preference. I understand why they chose to manufacture the case without, I also wish their could be a different way to incorporate the Apple Pencil without the plastic piece. Finally, including assembly instructions would be helpful for those not familiar with the defender cases. Overall, this is a great case and I’m glad I’m using otterbox to protect the device.

Awesome case really good quality reliable and it will take a beating and keep on tic’n. It really protects you iPad. A little heavy and costly but it’s worth it.

I've never purchased an OtterBox for an iPad, but, this was the second time our iPad was dropped an broken, so decided it was time to go with the best product! I like the texture of the case. It is not smooth, so it can be firmly gripped for a confident holding of the iPad. Strong, easy-to-put around the iPad, and easy to carry. As always OtterBox designs a great product to protect our technology.

A typical otter box which will hold up to the abuse of traveling with the iPad. Must buy a separate screen protector. Not included with the box.

This came with no instructions for how to put the Apple iPad into it. I actually had to Google it! Even then it wasn’t the easiest. Four stars for the company due to this! There wasn’t a QR code, No paper insert and NOTHING on the package itself.

Zero complaints. I always opt for Otter Box cases on my devices, especially when they're expensive. I literally dropped an iPhone (in an Otter Box case) in a river and when I finally found it, it was still fully functional with zero damage!! I didn't even have to soak it! I'd highly recommend water or life-proof cases by OtterBox because they have absolutely saved my butt sooooooooo many times!! Now, once again OtterBox has saved yet another device, only this time it saved my iPad from my doggo constantly jumping on it & trying to eat it. :p

I have bought Otterbox products for years and once again, they do not disappoint. So far they last approximately one year with a kid who constantly drops it and combined with a glass protector is even better. Even when its pricey, it has shown me that they can protect iPads very well.

As usual the Otterbox did the trick. Perfect fit and access to all buttons, I put a screen protector on also. I have never been disappointed with any Otterbox product. Highly recommend!

This is what Fort Knox looks like for iPads. This is the sturdiest and safest case you could possibly get for an iPad. It is an absolute pain to get off, so just set it up and forget it. If you like to change cases a bunch, DON'T get this. If you want your iPad investment to be snug as a bug in a rug while possibly being as unstoppable as an old Nokia, get this case.

Sturdy and protective but it adds a lot of bulk to the iPad. To be totally great, it should come with a screen protector.

Love it!!! This is the second one I have purchased. I lost it somewhere in my truck or someone stole the cover portion out of my truck thinking it was the I-Pad while I swept out my trailer at a truck stop (mental note to lock my tractor even if I am only getting out to pre-trip my tractor). It has fallen off the bunk while I'm driving several times. While secured, I can say with all honesty that I was never worried after the first drop.
