YES YES. Expensive... you bet they are... absolutely !!! However ... Zero, stories involving my cellphone that have the word "damage" in them. My phones over the years have survived countless "human" interactions and come out looking and functioning, like new. I have never regretted my purchase an use of any Otterbox case.
