Very hard case.i have dropeed my ipad couple of times.but still its good

It was a gift and I watched the person drop it... It was covered by the case, so safe and sound was the iPad when we opened it up.

Otterbox provides the protection necessary for an important investment like your iPad.

Does it's job well; protects iPad 2 from scratches and bangs. It is, however, very difficult to remove, and it's not as sensitive to the touch on the screen. The rubber sleeve part makes it particularly difficult to touch the screen. Since I drop my iPad on a regular basis, I'm pleased that I invested in it, but I am very picky about where and when I use it. Despite my critique, I would recommend this to a friend.

iPads get dropped especially from a lofted bed. This is a perfect solution.

For several years I have been using OtterBox products for my phones but was too cheap to purchase on for my I pad. I have used another brand for several years and finally decided to purchase an OtterBox version. I must say it does not disapoint. It is well built and works as I thought it would. I will initially spend the few extra pennies for a superior product from now on.

The Otter box is made to protect and it is great in that respect. The transparent film protector over the glass is very difficult to remove. The website has a video showing how you can do it with your fingers alone-- impossible! You need a small screwdriver or something else to pry it apart. I had a Zagg cover on the iPad before I got this and then found the Zagg and Otter screen protectors are not compatible. It always looks wet where the 2 mesh together. From what I have read, this can't be fixed.

I didn't have a true case for my iPad and accidentally bumped the edge of it against my cereal bowl & shattered the screen. I know that the edges are now safe from accidents!

This item is great for iPad used by children. Lightweight yet durable
