In my opinion, this is the best case for people that have a tendency to drop their tablet. The only drawback I have seen is the Otterbox screen causes a delay in the touch screen.

Love the cover and the strength to hold my phone and protect it.

I have always purchased otterboxes for my devices, whether it's a phone or a tablet. Otterboxes are absolutely worth the price, and even though they are a tad on the bulky side, are 100% worth the cost when you have a tendency to drop things.

Otter is the best way to go. Ithis my choice for my phones, ipod and ipads.

Had a combo keypad cover that was dropped once, and cracked screen Replacement s/credit for old iPad air2 cost $300, and this $48 would have been cheap insurance rather than spending same for another brand that did not protect iPad

I decided to get the Otterbox Defender Case because the iPad will also be used by young children in the home and this case protects the screen as well as the device. I look at the cost of the case as added insurance against accidental damage.

After purchasing an iPad Air2 for my 6 year old, it was time for a tablet. Otterbox has a great reputation, so it was the one we chose. I don't see it being waterproof, but indestructible outside of that. A bit expensive, but a solid case!

Use it for the kids iPad, works well for what I need it to do.

I only use otterbox for my apple product protection. They are too expensive not too! The ipad is used at baseball games for scorekeeping and can take a beating when traveling. The best protection for use outdoors with otterbox reliability.

The Otterbox Defender fits the iPad like a glove. It would be great if the casing had the non-skid pads on both halves of the case. Also, the charging port could be easier to open. Otherwise, this is a functional protective case!

This case is rugged and durable. It would be nice if it came with a stand.

Offers good protection for my iPad but the stand does not function as well as the older model. The iPad keeps flipping over!

The Otterbox Defender iPad case is as strong as it gets. It protects it completely and can save hundreds versus getting screens repaired. Has a tacky back to it for better grip. And screen cover is a plus to protect from scratches.

I'm not a fan of otterboxes for phones as they seem too bulky. When we sprung for an iPad, though, I wasnt taking any chances with the toddler. Doesn't feel bulky and feels very secure. Already survived several drops on the hardwood

This case is a life saver. Purchased for use on my daughter's tablet and I don't regret it. Goes everywhere with her and it's still in great condition. Kick stand on the back is perfect because she mostly uses her tablet for shows.

Our otter box is exceptional. It's already gone through some vigorous tests with a toddler at home and its still holding its own. For the amount of money that we paid for our i-pad we had to make a wise investment with the otter box.

Love the colour! Wish there were more different colours. Great customer service. The case at the bottom bows out at the bottom when I got it. Still works awesome!
