Great protection upon dropping the I pad My only problem is using the touch button for purchases. Even with that I love the protection when dropped

I recently bought my kids a I pad I was nervous about them dropping it but with this case I have nothing to worry about. I’ve always had this case on our phones so figured I’d give it a try with the tablet and sure enough my kids have dropped the iPad and it’s perfectly fine!!

I have 8 iPads for work, 5 of them use Otterbox cases. These seem to hold up best to hard usage on a daily basis. I've had many situations where employees were surprised the iPad survived after drops and spills. These are used in the warehouse and on delivery trucks and have saved many drops/falls.

This case is perfect for protecting my ipad. The only con I can think of is that is somewhat difficult to remove from case to use with stand.

This is one of the better cases for protecting your overpriced Apple junk. It's also obscenely overpriced, of course.

This does a good job of protecting iPads for working in the field. There is a screen cover to help prevent glass breakage. I have 3 of these

My kid uses it for technology class and I’m not worried about her dropping it! Needs a spot to carry wired headphones like the pen holder.

A bit pricey for my liking, but it does the job. iPad had been dropped a few times, and the case did its job. 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive.

Just like most other otter boxes it works to protect your tablet from that pesky downward gravitational pull towards the earth

Has a little trouble with smudges getting under the screen and difficult to remove once on. That part is the good thing, my 8year old is very hard on it and messy and can not take it off. No obstruction with camera and very very durable.

This is on my 6 year old sons ipad. So he is not careful and hard on everything and so far has held up great to everything he has put it through and countless amounts of drops. Would recommend for anyone who knows their iPad is going to have a tough life.

This a must purchase item. It protects our kids’ iPads. Price is higher, but they price matched Amazons price. Saved $30 per case

In my company we have thousands of these cases to protect our employees iPads. When I needed one for my personal device this was a no brained. Hands down the most effective brand of cases for your phone or tablet!

I have purchased lots of otterbox cases but this one is different. I love the case but the hard shell that removes is weird taking off. I wonder if it will cause long term damage. The stand doesn't offer great angles. Overall, it's a great, sturdy case.

Highly recommend this product. 4yr old uses iPad 24-7. This cover withstand multiple drops on ground, driveway, sidewalk, etc. back cover broke but iPad still intact. Worth every penny

I LOVE this case. I have had it now for quite a while. Loved it so much, I recommended it to my husband when he purchased a new ipad. It is durable but not TOO bulky. I am confident when I take it with me on trips or when I throw it in my backpack for work.

I’ve already dropped my new iPad a couple times, thanks to this coating of armor there’s not a scratch on my iPad. Cover does not effect volume of sound or screen picture quality at all and the fingerprint Id still works fine as well. Another great product by otter box!

The inner case fits ok. The charging port cover is difficult to open and once opened very often I have a feeling is going to break off. the bottom (protective part) does nothing to protect the IPad and is difficult to remove. The IPad has not been dropped so I cannot attest to the dropping protection. Personally I prefer the folio kind that had an auto turnoff when closed and that is the man reason I would not recommend the otter box. $70 later I am stuck with it thought until someone gifts me a better one.

Has this for my original iPad that after 7 years finally stopped working. When I removed the iPad from the original defender case the was not a single sign of wear and tear. I travel for a living and this thing stood up to very rigorous environments.

I bought a glass screen protector and this case comes with a screen protector. A little overkill on my part but this case is a tank! My iPad is used by the public at events and informational booths and I’m so happy I made this investment. Definitely purchase if your device will be in the hands of the public or kids who generally like to play rough. -1⭐️ b/c the interface is a little more difficult to use with this protector. Sometimes you have to mean it when you select something on the interface.
