I never Expected to have my own iPad then for Father day my Daughter and grand kids surprised me with one . So I started looking for A case and I looked at quiet a few then one day I went to Best Buy and a young lady asked if she could help me . I told her what I wanted and she showed me the Otter Box Defender case . it was a little more then I expected but this was a Very special gift so I did not have to think about price . I was very satisfied with the good looks and durability of the otterbox case I bought for my samsung phone. Therefore I decided to get one for my ipad. My primary concerns were that the screen cover would reduce the touchabilty of the ipad. I've had other cases with built-in screens that left a small space between the screen and the device. The otterbox case, however, fits very snuggly and I haven't noticed any reduction in touability or usability. I would highly recommend this case.

It was hard to find a good case that fit securely and was protective enough. We found this otter case and it works great.

Preserves iPad as new for years even for heavy users. Adds some bulkyness but worth for additional protection.

Does it's job to protect the iPad. You can take the bottom to stand it and watch your videos or play your games

My last iPad mini used an Otterbox. My son now uses that on his mini. The quality is outstanding. I purchased this for the 6th gen 9.7” iPad. It fits perfectly and seems built extremely well. If it is as tough as my last one, than it will be going strong for years. I also have an Otterbox for my phone and it has taken a couple of years of abuse and is still going strong. I definitely would recommend this to protect an IPad. Otterbox has not let me down yet.

I was on the fence about this purchase because Otterbox is a little pricier than some of the alternative options, but I am glad I decided to buy. The Otterbox offers great protection, and quality has even improved. The outer rubber casing on my previous Otterbox case stretched- becoming slightly bigger than my old iPad. Same with my phone. The outer rubber shell on this one is much sturdier/harder than previous generations and won’t do that!
