Fits well and iPad is well protected in these cases

Nothing beats an Otterbox for protection and this Defender Series case does not disappoint. Bought two of these for both iPads that are used primarily by our (now) 12 and 14 year olds and this case has repeatedly proven that Otterbox is one of the best brands for protecting expensive devices.

Purchased two of these for the iPads I ordered. These cases are great for my phone so I figured they'd be good for the tablet.

Daughter is only 2 years old and this case takes a beating. I hate how heavy it is but that weight is added protection. Would recommend this case for anyone with younger kids.

I purchased a new iPad for work, I'm a cable installer. I have to have something that is durbable and will protect my $500 investment. Well this an area to not get something cheap and the OtterBox is the OG rugged case. It even has a holder for the apple pencil which is great and just an added bonus.

We bought another brand of case that fell apart twice, second failure was a warranty replacement. The iPad was damaged so this case helped stop the damage from going further and hides the crack as well. Wish we had bought this the first time! A must if you have a kid using your iPad.

I purchased the otterbox for a new iPad. I like the quality of material of the otter box, and I believe in protecting your investment. It is cheaper to buy this product to protect the iPad rather than paying to repair and/or replace the iPad. There is an old saying, better safe than sorry!

This case is a great product for the price we have over 30 them. And they hold up really well in an office environment.

This case offers good protection, but it is heavy. It’s actually two pieces - the stand is separate. There were pictures of various ways to use the stand, but no instructions on how to set up. Also, I often find myself leaving the stand and then having to prop the iPad up to use comfortably. If you want protection, this is very good. For convenience and lightness, not so much.

My kids could destroy a Sherman tank if they used it long enough. This protects their iPad pretty good. No complaints. Otter box design is PAINFUL to remove.

I love my new Otterbox Defender for my new (5th) generation IPad. I have an Otterbox on all of my iPads, including my mini’s. I have 4 total, all of which I purchased at Best Buy. This case has the best protection available to protect your devices. Best Buy had the best price around! I just wish it came in more colors.

I got this case because we got an Ipad for my Son and it has worked perfect, after seeing how well protected it was I had to get the Phone version of this case for my son's phone! I lost count on how many times they've dropped them and not a single scratch since then.... its been over a year now....

I have a 2 years baby. Who watches lot of rhymes on YouTube and plays games. And my baby keep banging and throwing the ipad around. Thanks to otterbox cover ipad is safe. Also it has extra protection to the touch screen which protects from any small liquid or food when my baby uses while having food.

Bought this iPad case for my grand daughter for Christmas. Wanted a tuff case, that would last , with kids using it.

The defender series is the best protective case for electronics. I have used the defender series with every one of my iPhones plus iPads. I’m hard on phones and tablets. I have dropped my phone multiple times and haven’t had any issues with my phone. I wouldn’t have anything other than the defender series otter box.

I actually had originally purchased a more expensive albeit lighter-duty case but ended up exchanging for this otter box case. I love how sturdy this is. The screen protector is nice as well. I can throw my iPad into my bag or let my toddler play with it without having to worry about damage to the device.
