Besides dropping something on the screen, I have no concern about the iPad's being damaged. The built in screen protector is also great and easy to clean the smudges off of. If I had to complain about something, it is a little wonky, if that's a word, to get the cover off. I understand it is there to keep the screen safe when not in use, and it does a great job as a "kickstand" but it is impossible for the kids to remove and somewhat difficult at times for me.

I Always buy Otterbox.
