I have had 4 iPhones and 2 iPads and I have used the Otterbox cases on all of them. This iPad case is pretty light and thin for the protection that it is adding to your iPad.

I've bought the otterbox defender case for 3 of my previous phones and a Samsung tablet. I had to do the same for this new iPad. Best way to protect your electronic devices!

This is a must have for all of my portable devices , I don't leave home with out it, your better off safe then sorry and it has saved my devices on more then one occasion !

I really like this case. I have been using it for a month and a half. It is very well made of strong and tough material. I have accidentally dropped my iPad 6 only once from about 4 feet high on its corner and then it hit the floor on its back side. I think that this case saved my iPad at that time. On the other hand, the case comes with a screen protector that makes a little bit of a rainbow effect on the screen. It is not a distraction to view the screen unless you are in bright daylight and move the iPad up and down to catch a glimpse of the little rainbow on the screen. Also, I carry my iPad with this case in my hand and it does not slip. I am satisfied with this product so far. When I went to Best Buy to buy it, the price was higher than the website. I showed the website to the cashier who made a price match. I purchased it for $49.99. It is usually higher than this price.

Was looking for a case to protect my son's new iPad. Wasn't really finding anything that I liked, although I had seen this case before I thought it was to expensive but got it on sale. It was easy to install and liked that it came with a screen protector. Some reviewers had trouble with their cases and some stated the screen protector was non-responsive, did not have any of those issues. Would recommend.

I have used Otterbox for several years for my iphone and my husband's ipone. This is my first ipad and decided to keep the same protection. So far I love this purchase.

Otterbox Defender is the only case for me! When we drop the item the case protects it and won’t crack/break the glass. A different shield didn’t keep the glass intact.

Have always had an Otterbox for my previous iPads. This is the fourth one and it truly protects my iPads. They look brand new when I trade them in for the next release.

This case is perfect. It acts both as a case and has a vertical stand. Which in turn gets rid of wrist fatigue when watching a movie or working on a major project.

Typically purchase OtterBox's for cellphones, but wanted extra protection for my recently purchased IPad. Excellent, durable protection- even has a Apple Pencil holder inside of the case. Slighty bulky, but the device is covered completely front to back. Another great OtterBox product. Don't waste your time with the competitors. Otterbox stands behind their products.

Works better than expected not too bulky nice stand as well

Lately, the quality of Otterbox cases for iPhones has gone downhill. The cases don’t last like they used to and start breaking. I won’t buy iPhone Otterbox cases anymore, but this one for iPad is holding up fine and how it should, considering the costs. I like the built-in screen protector and how it lays flush. The stand serves as a cover which is very useful.

The otter box is so great for the iPad! It is strong and holds up to falls and has a great piece inside to prop up the iPad for watching without holding it!

we got these to put on ipads inspectors use in the field they hold up well and keep the screens safe. the case to set it up and carry it works great too

The otterbox is top notch protection for Iphones and Ipads. I like the protective screen cover that converts to a stand for the i pad. Great product.

We have small children so we needed a sturdy case for our ipad. This one is very sturdy and has been dropped many times without damaging the ipad.

I purchased this iPad cover for my son . He travels often and is always dropping things . It also protects the screen . He is very happy with it.
