I purchased this for 3 reasons. Integrated screen protector saves a second purchase, the stand can be utilized for a more upright or more down position, and the stand can be placed over the screen to protect it. I can easily throw the case on the iPad and then toss it in my bag. I hope this stands up longer than the Otterbox did for my cell phone though :/

Had to wait for Otter box to make a device protector that properly fit the IPad my father was using. Easy install and protects as advertised.

I have always trusted otter box on my phone and so got one for my tablet it was a great purchase.

If you have an iPad this is a must have. There is no keyboard but like me I am sure you did not buy it to type on. Great Protection which include screen protection. Includes a cover when not in use that is also a stand. If it had a place for your charger it would be even better. I need to find one like this for my son's iPad Air 1.

Got a I Pad for Grandkid and feel a lot better knowing it is protected from drops and scratching the face. Bad: Priced on the high side.

I was looking for a case for an iPad for my six-year-old, I ran across this one and was initially concerned because of the price, fairly expensive, but I am very pleased with the product and would highly recommend. It offers great protection and the stand that comes with it makes for easy use would definitely buy again

It protects my iPad. Nice sturdy cover. You have to make sure you get the right one for your iPad and once you've got it, you're set.

We are using the ipad in a pediatric practice...this is the perfect way to protect the ipad from getting broken. Highly recommended.

I got this Otterbox Defender series case for my IPad Mini 4 for $35 on sale. Great price! Best Buy always has the best products.

This case was on sale and it turned out to be a great purchase. It has a built-in clear screen protector and button cover, neither of which interferes with normal operation of the touch screen or fingerprint reader. The case includes a removable front cover that truly protects the entire screen as it bounces around in a backpack stuffed with other items that could cause damage. The cover also acts as a base with a kickstand. All of this and it still manages to be fairly slim. Could not ask for more. iPads are required for students at our school next year so that means 180 days of potential accidents and rough handling. Even with Apple Care coverage you often have to pay some fees for repairs. Do yourself a favor and just keep your iPad safe.

I had an otter on my mini and it was perfect for protection and ease of use. With my investment on a new Ipad full size I knew I wanted it protected from daily use. This product has only improved since I last bought one and I consider it to be a necessary expense. Easy to install and quality material and craftsmenship.

This is the best case I've found for my new iPad. I've tried other cases with my older iPads & iPhones but they would always break in one way or another. I love the Otterbox Defender cases because they are sturdy, has a built in screen protector & has a stand that can set my iPad either vertically or horizontally.
