I generally have a love hate relationship with otter boxes for all devices, this case is no different. Great protection, screen protector/ kickstand cover are great bonuses. I just hate the added girth the defender line of otter boxes add to the device they protect. That is the only reason I did not give this 5 stars.

This case provides amazing protection for our iPad mini. It is robust, but it is not too large for easy use. The OtterBox protects the four corners, which our last case did not do. I installed a glass screen protector onto the iPad. So to avoid any loss in touch capability, I removed the screen protector that came with the case. It was just glued on, so I was able to get it off with only a little difficulty. It allows for easy use of the finger print reader. Also, the top side of the case provides several options to stand the iPad at various slopes. Love this case.

This case is perfect for my mini iPad, fit and feels great, the stand is awesome and incredible protection for your investment.

I have a Survivor protection case on my IPad Air which is a good product as well, however, it cannot compare to the Survivor. The case is hard plastic with a built in protective clear plastic screen. When you are done using your tablet you snap the hardcover top on top of the tablet case so you have 360degrees of protection. The top cover when removed has a built in collapsible stand to prop your tablet on for viewing. The price at Best Buy beat out Walmart by $40.00!

Love this Otter box for iPad mini. The padding helps with unexpected drops, the screen protector works well. All the controls are easily accessible. Love the 'lid' you can put over the screen so when crammed into a full school back pack the screen has extra protection. Would certainly recommend. Bit bulky but worth that adds the protection I wanted to very happy with this purchase.

After purchasing an iPad Mini, I knew I needed a protective case. I'd had an Otterbox for an older iPod, and it provided great protection from the occasional drop and scrape. When I found this one at Best Buy, at much less than I expected to pay, I ordered it immediately. It arrived within just a few days, and was a bit difficult to put on. Using the directions helped, but it was a tight fit, as was expected. The protective case is cumbersome, but removable for ease of use, and the camera can't be used with it on. However, it snaps on and off easily, so that's not a problem. I will use it when traveling with the iPad to protect it. Last week I saw the same case at Target for $30 more, so I am very happy with this purchase.

The otter box case for my iPad makes if easy to work with and removes the delicate feeling from it. the outer carrier is very useful to have the iPad standing on any side. I dropped the iPad once in the tile floor and nothing happen to the iPad or the case.... I am very happy with it.

We had one of these cases for almost 2 years on an iPad 2 for my 6 year old grandson. The iPad was dropped many times and even thrown across the room (as part of a tantrum), and STILL fully protected it completely. So now that we've updated his iPad, we've purchased the same case. Very affordable too, worth every penny, and I would actually pay twice as much!

Otter Box never disappoints. Their cases seem to get better with each generation. Our iPad is passed between my 3 and 6 year old and it has never failed. They are rough on it and the Otter Box just laughs at them. I have tried other "tough" cases and they just don't hold a candle to Otter Box products. I wouldn't put my iPad in anything else.

This case is great, easy to install my mini into & durable. My daughter loves to grab at it and is drooling like crazy at 7 months old and the case protects the mini from her! The stand that comes with useful as well. Great for facetiming with people and not having to hold it. Been dropped a few times with no issues. Highly recommend.

Protects iPad works great easy functions easy stand

I had bought another brand and it did not fit well. It was hard to get on and off. When you tried to turn it on and off you had to take the whole cover off. The otterbox mini case fits perfect and is easy to put on. It even has a built in screen protector.

This is the second Otterbox Defender case I have purchased as it was the second Ipad mini that I have bought (for another one of my children). The first one has worked like a charm on accidental slips or drops in the last two years. The case hasn't broken or cracked in those incidences. The only drawback (it is a small one in relation to a broken or cracked screen on an Ipad) is that it makes the Ipad quite a bit heavier. To me, it gives it more substance and less fragile. When it came time to buy another case, I didn't have to read any reviews or even think about it, I knew based on my own previous experience that I would get another Otterbox. I haven't been disappointed in this one either. Great investment.

After extensive research, I ultimately decided on getting this particular case for my ipad mini. It's durable, the cover can double as a stand, and it has a built in screen protector. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that's looking for a protective case.

Very decent case, love the rubber. Pretty difficult to get off the Ipad once you get it on there, but it only certifies that this case is sealed. Adds some weight to the Ipad, but it's worth it and the overall feel is nice. The removable stand/outer cover is nice too.

I use a otterbox defender case for every iPhone I own and and I drop my iPhone at lease one a day and I never had a damage or crack iPhone so I spent the money and got one for my new iPad Pro. I love it ! It not for a person that looking for lite weight case. This case is for a working person on the go , in the work shop working or someone that plays hard. I bought one for my 85 year old mother for her mini iPad and she has not problems holding it and it not to heavy for her to use everyone it come with a stand inside the case cover that works very well.

Best case you can buy for any Apple device. I bought this for my 8 and 10 year olds to protect their I Pads and it has been great. It is extremely durable and I don't have to worry about either of my kids breaking the glass on their devices.

I would highly recommend this otter box case to protect an iPad device. The ease of knowing the device and especially the screen is protected is great peace of mind. Easy to apply yet requires adult attention if need to remove from device.

Works awesome to protect our sons iPad from damage. It stands, covers and has weathered a few hard drops while he was running to another area to sit and play. Great product and has held up very well! We love it

It fits my iPad great. Easy to use and has proven to protect my iPad as I have dropped it a few times.
