It performs admirably and takes great care of the iPad through some pretty rough handling. our 2 year old plays with it all the time. so the ipad has been dropped etc, i can take it out of the case and it looks brand new. The bumper and screen protector are typical Otterbox outstanding performance. There aren't any accessibility issues with the earphone or lightning plug ports. The screen protector is plastic, not glass,

It is tough and built to last. It has saved me from many a drop and spill. It also has a stand for no hands reading. A well thought out and well built product.
