    We bought this to protect our new iPhone. Although it did a great job protecting the phone, it was too bulky and heavy. We ended up returning it.

    Have owned many Otterbox Defender cases and never damaged a dropped phone. But, this case does not completely seal around the fingerprint reader, allowing dust/dirt entry onto phone screen.

    The holster and case are thinner and lighter. The phone can be clipped in either direction with no problem.
