It was driving my wife crazy. I found this Otterbox on sale at Best Buy and, except for not being waterproof, it works well. It's very shock absorbing and the screen is clear. All buttons work and the torchscreen is sensitive.

The case I had for my iPhone 4 was much softer rubber, and it would separate and come loose from the phone. It was very annoying. This case is made of much stiffer material and has no bad issues.

My main gripe is that I listen to music frequently and that experience is difficult at best. It's a pain to have to remember the audio cable adapter whenever I leave the house. And those cables aren't cheap enough to just buy extras. The case also somewhat distorts music through the phones speakers. Buy it to protect your phone, but if you're really into the music look elsewhere.

I did not give it the 5 stars because my older son used the same case and his phone fall from a 3ft high and the screen broke. Other than that it will protect it from smalls drops and scratches.

Access to ports and home button, all except vibrate switch while holstered. Port covers seem like they will not weaken & break off over time/repeated use (but, only been in use for just over 1 month, so...?) A little bit bulky, but I will accept that to protect the phone.
