Silicon layer at the base does not lock well because it got misshapened during the loading process. Also kind of pricey, manufacturer knows people want to protect their phones.

The rubber outer case works very well to prevent sliding and the harder inner plastic case does a good job protecting my phone. The problem is the case holder that clips on your belt. The plastic part that allows you to remove the case from the holder tends to break after a while. I still use the first otter box case I got. I have had to buy others just to replace the case holder because they break. I would recommend the case but not the belt clip case holder.
