I bought this for my wife and she loves it. I love it too since she drops her phone all the time :-). I only wish the plastic screen would come out easily since she already has a screen protector on the phone. Otterbox by far makes the best cases.

I really love this product. It feels well and protect my iPhone.

Great case for someone looking for an inexpensive case

I have always purchased Otterbox cases for my devices, but they certainly don't come without their flaws. However, they mostly make up for their flaws with their precise build quality and superb fit. This case has a bit of an annoyance that hinders my overall rating. It's the screen protector. It allows dust to easily find its way under the screen and stay! It's especially annoying on account of how difficult it is to remove this case. Anyways, this calls for a three star rating in my opinion.

This is the third OtterBox Defender case that I've had and they've never let me down. The first one was defective but OtterBox replaced it without any hassle. It kept that phone safe for three years. When I got my new phone a few months ago, I decided that this was the only way to fully protect it. While the case keeps my phone safe, there is an issue with the bottom piece of rubber near the home button. It gets a little loose because there's just no place for it to hold to. It's not a big problem, more of an annoyance. If the loose piece was a bit more secure, I'd give this case 4 stars.

So I got this case 4 months and i to be great but here is some reason why I needs some improvements 1 the fingerprint it gets dirty so quickly with the finger prints on the screen protector and I have to use fingerprint products get them off. Another reason is headphone jack Cover I use a pair of beats studios and the cord is like a t shape and i have to plug it in sideways so it covers the charger so in conclusion the ottor box defender helps your phone from drops and everything but I needs some improvements to the booted of it and make it third party available.

I bought this case because I had been wanting a new case for my iPhone 5 since the one I had (Speck) was falling apart. I had ben wanting an Otter since the days f my iPhone 3G, but the price always turned me away. After seeing how many people at work had one I decided it was finally time to get one. I like the case very much and am very happy with it and actually feel comfortable knowing that my iPhone 5 is well protected.

The durability of this product is great I love how it feels and the way it protects my iPhone.

This case feels heavy duty in your hand and also makes me feel like I have a better grip of the phone in general. I have bigger hands so I feel like I would be less likely to drop it. This case covers 99% of the phone including all the ports. It is well worth the money.

I have been waiting for a navy and silver/grey one for a while! its my school colors and its awesome! i love otterbox's defender series... they might be bulkier than a lifeproof, but the sound quality is MUCH better and u dont need a special connector for headphones!

Bought this case for my wife for her iPhone 5. She dropped the phone on cement floor face-down and the case absorbed the fall with not a single scratch to the phone. Love the protection this case offers. Have bought 2 cases for different phones as they are sturdy and reliable.

This is a good case for iPhone 5S which maintains the use of fingerprint sensor. It has a cut out hole at the place of touch sensor. I am not sure if it is water proof as the speaker ports on bottom of phone are open.

Great for piece of mind, coil be thinner like boxes of life, only thin is they didn't have but 2 style options to choose from. Real tree baby!

I have the Otterbox Defender for the Galaxy Note 4. The phone was dropped from about 3-4 feet off the ground while just holding it. The LCD has cracked, touch screen doesn't work and the screen no longer lights up. On a separate but similar topic, the screen protector on the Defender still allows dust and lint to get through the opening the button used to turn the screen on. If we didn't have an additional albeit cheap screen protector on the phone the screen would also be very scratched. Needless to say, we will not be purchasing products from Otterbox again. The warranty that is offered is pointless to have if the phone ins't protected at all. Now that would be good customer service, to back up what your case should be protecting, Especially for the $65 we spent for the case to begin with, with the expectation that we wouldn't have to worry about the phone being damaged.
