This is my third Otter box. I first purchased one for my blackberry which I had until I got my iPhone 5. So I purchased another for this phone and after having the grey box for 2 years I decided to buy a black one. I find them very durable and lasting.

Great entry level case and easy to handle with sleek look

I just hate that can't sit it on the speakers and to remove it takes ages

Difficult to figure out how to open, but my daughter finally figured out how to do it (no instructions on opening it). Not sure how useful the belt clip is. It looks like it will do a good job of keeping my daughter from breaking her THIRD iPhone... hopefully she will keep it in the case this time.

I purchased this outer box for my iPhone 5s and I love the way the phone feels it gives it the right amount of thickness and it feels rugged and tough. I love the belt clip so that I don't have to put my phone in my pocket. Is just a great phone protector..

It really does what the name says...Defends! My phone has had some serious falls and after I took it out of the case it still looked brand new and without a scratch. It does make your phone look bigger and bulkier but it's well worth the money spent!

I always purchased Otterbox Defender cases for my iPhones and iPad (we have more than one of each at our house.) We have never broken a device that is protected inside one of these cases. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I purchased this phone case for my iPhone 5s and have been very happy with the quality of the materials used and the protection for my phone. I have dropped my phone twice from a distance of about 5 feet and the phone was completely protected from damage.

Great protection but don't like the cut out for the finger print , it gets dirt under the clear screen!

Otter box cannot be compared to any other protect available. The defender is the best on the market. perfect protection for all of the phones we have in the house. no matter how many times you drop the phone the box does its job.

I work outdoors in all sorts of weather and this otterbox is THE best for dust, cold, dropping and inclement weather. I bought this box for my son for his birthday since I love mine so much, I knew he'd love this one.

These are the best cases for the iPhone. I've owned 6 Otterbox cases, as well as other brands -there is no comparison. These are durable, stylish, and effective. Defenders are a little bulkier than others, but the best if you need some drop protection.

Case is ok but a little bulky and heavy for my liking.
