This cover protects the phone well. Kind of like wrapping it in a blanket or bubble wrap. However it is somewhat difficult to install and it makes the phone very bulky so you cant easily carry the phone in a pocket or slim-line holster. The trade off is that you can drop the freaking phone on a tile floor and it wont shatter - but the tradeoff is you have a clunky package to carry and no longer fits easily in a pocket.

I have had an Outer Box since the Iphone 5 was available years ago.. Its still in good condition and has protected my phone from daily abuse and drops. I'm very reckless! Just bought a new redesigned Outer Box so I can use the Fingertip Technology to unlock the phone or make a purchase. It works great and my phone still has the rugged protection for a reckless old guy.

I had the OtterBox Defender for my iPhone 3GS, and it lasted me more than three years until I finally upgraded to a 5S. I will say I'm hesitant to demonstrate it's great protections by throwing it around with family like I did with my 3GS, but that's just because the 5S has the thumbprint sensor AND the screen's bigger than the 3GS, and I'm afraid the screen's more susceptible to damage. That's my unqualified fear/opinion, though. I also don't care for the price (who does?), and I wish they included instructions to care for it (it can get linty and such, I just use Q-tips or nail files to get into the tight spaces.

I switched to the otter box from the competitor. I liked the durability and choice of colors.

Got this case for my nephew's iPhone SE. 9 months after putting it on the iPhone, the SE looked flawless upon taking it off. We were able to sell the iPhone and get some money to put toward a new XR. Case was a little beat up, but took a licking and kept on ticking. Great buy, would recommend Otterbox products to others going forward.

This case is easy to put on and allows you to use print scan function. Good Protection.

Like always..the otter-box defender series is amazing..love how it keeps the phone protected from water, dirt and the occasionally accident with the little kiddos..

Overall this is an excellent case for protecting your phone and screen (all in one). It is a little bulky, other than that it works very well.

Easy to use & put on the phone. Sleek and trim, not bulky, but still offers good protection. My only complaint is that the little piece that surrounds the "on" button split in half - still usable.

I wanted to buy a case that I could trust. Normally, I just find a cheap case and be done with it. Since I do not want to be replacing this phone because of a drop, I bought the this case and I'm very happy with it. I have already dropped my case several time and not a scratch. The other reason I like this case is very thin. Most rugged cases are very thick and won't fit in my pocket. This one does. great case!
