You can't go wrong with Otterbox products and this is no exception. I have dropped my phone several times (no damage) it's been on a counter with water and thankfully did not get damaged. There's a few layers of protection so if you are looking to protect your phone without having to unscrew headphone jack (like Lifeproof) this is the case for you.

Sturdy phone case, well built. It will not last forever and it is a tad bulky, but it will serve the purpose of protecting your phone very well.

We have purchased multiple Otterbox cases, and have been beyond happy every time. With five kids, our phones get dropped banged around, man handled, and more, but the Otterbox cases have always kept our phones in pristine condition so that whenever we have upgraded our phones, we always got full trade-in value because of the great condition.

This case has smooth, easy to hold and protects your phone

I bought this item after the original one I had began to come apart from the plastic section surrounding the phone. We inquired about getting this replaced but no luck. I purchased the same one since it does offer great protection. I have dropped my phone numerous times and have had no damage to the phone. I'm pretty rough on phones too. I do recommend this product. It is a little bulky but that is the trade off for good damage protection.

I had to purchase this case because the Lifeproof case for this phone was not out yet.............I was surprised how sensitive this case is and also how well I can hear through it. So far holding up great. The only reason I gave it one less star is - because it is still bigger and heavier than the life proof and of course is not waterproof like the lifeproof, but I think I can hear better. The only other down side is the outside material is still a material that picks up more dirt vs the lifeproof case which is a plastic and not rubber

When investing in any smartphone today, we consumers need some help with those unfortunate accidents that happen. Just look around at you friend's/family's smartphones and you'll see what I am talking about. I personally can't tell you how many cracked screens I see, all with the same "accidental" drop story. Now, nothing is full proof for protecting, but, why not buy something that would help to be a major deterrent. I recommend this or if your concerned over thickness being to much, look to Lifeproof. They are now the same company.

OtterBox is a little pricey but it's the best for protecting your phone from dropping and breaking. Fits well and still is easy to access buttons or charger.

We have tried several of the competitors to OtterBox and I found they do not spend the test of time and withstand the day-to-day use in damage OtterBox does . OtterBox is the most durable case you will find at the best price I would definitely recommend it I have five phones all an OtterBox cases not one has ever been damaged!
