I plan to have my phone as long as possible and wanted to make sure it would stay in good condition. It does make the phone a little heavier and larger, but I don't mind. Also, unlike the screen on the lifeproof cases, I haven't noticed any scratching or lots of fingerprints. It is not waterproof, in case you'd like to know.

Good Case Terrible Screen Cover

The screen cover is terrible and I cut it out after using it for a day. I probably would have given it another star if it didn't come with the screen cover. I took away another star because it is very bulky. The covers over the headphone jack and power port make it hard to plug things into the phone and if your headphone plug or power plug are a little over sized they might not fit. Overall it is a good case and it should provide better protection than most cases.

While we're glad to hear that your iPhone 6 feels secure within the Defender case, we apologize that you've been dealing with a laundry list of issues! To start, it is odd that the screen protector wasn't working well for you, since normally it sits flush on the screen and acts as an invisible shield. We would have loved to replace this under our warranty, but we don't typically recommend cutting parts out of the case, as this can decrease the protective abilities of the unit.
As for the bulk, while the extra layers add a lot in terms of protection, we understand that this makes the case a little larger than usual. We would suggest looking at our slimmer case styles, such as the Commuter or the Symmetry series. Additionally, the rubber on newer cases can sometimes be a little rigid at first, but it should start to relax after some consistent use over time!
