In the past I was able to insert a separately purchased tempered glass screen protector. I know that glass saved my screen. This Otter came with a nonremoveable plastic screen protector that is to easily scracthed, and pitted. And is becoming cloudy. The glass protectors I've used in the past never allowed moisture to sleep under it, and I've already had to take this one apart to dry my phone. Really disappointed.

While these troubles are certainly odd and we would be happy to issue a warranty replacement, we might suggest actually checking out the Commuter + Alpha Glass combo instead. The Commuter case is screenless, and allows the use of our tempered glass screen protector. These cases have a built-in screen protector and keep dust out of the phone. My kids have dropped, tossed and other wise abused these poor cases but they protect the phone! I recently upgraded my son's iPhone 5s and when the Tech guy took his phone out of the case, he was floored that it was a teenager's phone. No scratches, dust, or cracks anywhere! It looked brand new! Can't beat this case!
