Can be buried in dirt and as long as it can be found comes to no harm.Will not survive if ran over.

While it's awesome to see that this Defender series is successfully safeguarding your iPhone, we apologize that the case seems to be a little too cumbersome for your preferences! The extra layers do a lot in terms of added protection, but there shouldn't be any loss in device functionality, so we find it bizarre that your screen protector is running into some trouble. Our handy Otters would love to fix things up with a warranty claim, so please don't hesitate to call them at 1-855-688-7269. They'll send out another lid/base unit with a brand-new screen shield that we trust shouldn't give you any such trouble going forward!

Product works well

The Otterbox worked so well and saved my phone many many times so I replaced both the case and the belt clip. They both lasted a few year and I plan on getting a few years out of the new one.
