Otter box is always been my favorite protective cover for my iPhone. I have dropped my iPhone well over hundred times and the phone is like new underneath. The reason why I had to buy another cover was that I ran over my iPhone with a bobcat. And actually the phone still worked but you couldn't see the screen because it was crushed! Otherwise Otterbox is the way to go.

My teenage son picked this out because he liked the design. I like the brand because I know it is tough and will protect the phone from drops and heavy use

Even with the larger size of the iPhone 8, the Otterbox Defender case is unobtrusive enough to slide in and out of my pocket. Tough and accessible case!

The phone case seems sturdy enough to protect the phone in case of accidentally dropping it, and it looks nice on the phone. The darker color should help it to not show dirt. The case does make the side buttons on the phone harder to push, though. I sometimes have trouble taking a screen shot.

Purchased the otter box to protect my new iphone8. Does a fantastic job. I especially like the belt clip and holder. No worries about it falling out.

Its the perfect protector for any one, especially those prone to dropping. The name Defender is the perfect description of a near perfect phone case

Definitely purchase if you want to save your phone from a fall. Like a shield for your phone. If you drop the phone like my son does.....it is a must

When we pass down our iPhones to the kids (making them iPods) we have consistently put them in OtterBox cases. My son loves the camouflage version.

The OtterBox Defender has protected my old iphone 5 for years as I work on the farm and I expect this case to do the same for my new iphone 7. It is very well constructed and protective. Wish it did a better job of keeping dust out from under the screen protector.

I spend a lot of time on a motorcycle and my phones are exposed to the elements. I've used lifeproof cases on my IPhones in the past. Great cases except my case would wear out within a year. So I switched to Otterbox. Great protection, and cheaper to buy. So when I bought a new iPhone, I went right to the Otterbox case.

great case all the protective features, without extreme bulk. I contacted letterbox about warranty replacement to case that was accidentally laid on hot surface, no reply from letterbox, so what does that tell you about them? And I would pay for replacement??

This is a great case! My husband works in a warehouse, and he is always dropping his phone, but this case keeps it protected.
