I noticed a few years ago the quality was very poor. I was reluctant to purchase this one, but the sales associate let me try it before buying. Durable and style friendly

All of us in the family are hard on our phones and these cases are tough and can handle whatever impacts our phones go though on a daily basis.

Clunky, difficult charger port cover.

It makes the phone heavy and cumbersome. The little plastic sticker over the home button had to be removed. Then I cut the cover off of the charger port because it was making it difficult to plug in. I'll be getting a different case soon.

A case full of air isn't exactly something that we want going on! We apologize that this is happening, and we would genuinely love to help out. It sounds like there could be a slightly bigger gap somewhere in the case that shouldn’t be there, and this is letting in elements that don't usually get past the barriers. As for the water, OtterBox cases do not actually claim to be waterproof. Although the extra layers on the Defender might naturally keep some water out, we do not recommend submerging the case in liquids of any kind. If you have any further questions on this, please let us know!

Major improvement!

The defender series has come a long way since then and is better then ever! I use to buy life proof cases but now that the iPhone 7 is waterproof there is no need. Life proof cases are also twice as much as an otterbox defender.
