Bought as a gift. I have seen it dropped numerous times & still no damage! The light teal does look slightly dingy after a few months.

THIS IS MY THIRD OTTERBOX CASE AND I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM. THEY ARE VERY DURABLE AND DO WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO DO.

This is for my young adult son in college. His last Otterbox took the beating but the phone is fine. I expect the same with this one.

The rubber material is much improved over the older defender series which lost its rigidity and elasticity over a short period of time

I have always owned a defender, it has never let me down. I have dropped it on numerous occasions and my iPhone is never damaged.

I did not give this 5 stars due to the flap that opens to have the lightening connector attach. I makes it very hard to attach the cord compared to my Lifeproof case for my old iPhone 5. This case is for a new IPhone 7 Otherwise very rugged.

My son is a bit careless and this has worked to protect his phone. The only drawback is that the clear cover on the front makes it a bit challenging at times to use the touch screen. Takes some getting used to but overall a fine case.

My mom got her first Iphone and we got her this case. She loved it and it's very durable for working in the kitchens where she works
