With my husband working in a factory he was very nervous his phone would get messed up climbing in and out of the machines.... so far so good and we’re going on one year with the same otterbox. His phone still looks brand new

This is heavy duty protection. When I sell my iPhone I always get the highest price when I say "it was in a Otterbox Defender case". My iPhone is like new when it is removed. I have dropped it many times and no fear of breakage or scratching.

These cases are simply the best out there. They make your phone almost invulnerable. This is my 5th one, and when I had an issue with one of them, a replacement was in my hands in 4 days. They take drops, falls, and bumps in stride.

It is a very sturdy product and I am happy to have it protecting my iPhone 7. The case is a little heavy but worth it. The two downsides are: poor installation instructions so I had help from Batteries Plus (who was replacing the screen) and the plastic screen cover gets easily "yucky" very quickly so after a week I took the screen cover off. I had a very good cover installed already.

Once again I have my third Otter box it is helped me and said my phone from being damage I think this item is a very good seller and I would recommend it for anyone that would like to buy one for their iPhones once again thank you OtterBox

I originally purchased the LifeProof - Frē case, but felt that the Otterbox Defender case suited my needs more. The case feels "substantial" in my hand and I am confident that it can take a fall or other bump and protect my phone. I haven't been able to get the fingerprint function to work on my phone with the case on, but that is minor. Overall, I am very happy with this case.

It does a great job protecting my phone, which is why I purchased it. I used to have a LifeProof case, but people were having trouble hearing me on it, so I wanted to try this one. No complaints about sound on this one so far.. has been about 2 weeks. But the case makes it so my thumbprint won't work on my iphone, so I have to always type in passcodes, that is a bit annoying!

I decided to switch from the commuter case to this defender case when I got my new phone. I wish the retail stores would allow you to build your own case (colors) like the otter website does. I've dropped the phone many times and as always the case protects it. I've had some issues with the cover over the screen causing slide issues on the phone. Other than that I love it as always.

My son loves it. He’s fourteen and needs the extra protection.

This Otterbox is my choice over the Lifeproof for my new iPhone 7. Had one on my previous iPhone 6 and this holds up well! I know that Lifeproof owns Otterbox, by the way. Still a great buy with superior protection of your new baby!

Not only is this case sturdy, it looks very nice, too! The rose gold color of my phone peeks through the back logo circle and looks pretty. It is easy to hold on to because of the textured edge. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This case has been great at protecting my phone from drops and spills! I had one on my old phone and would take it off and put it back on daily so I could dock my phone. That case broke into several pieces. I decided it was due to the fact that I'd not left it on though. So when I got my new phone, I vowed to leave the case on it and it's worked fabulously for months now.

this is my second one...bought a new phone and had to have a different case..dropped my other phone several times on concrete from 6ft or higher with no damage to phone or case..so with a proven record, I bought another one...
