Well before I did the cool thing and bought a protector with some funky designs and you know what it didn't do that job and my phone smashed. Now I did the smart thing and bought an otterbox.

My main reason for buying this case was to lift my cheek away from the screen. Every time I would talk on my iPhone 7 it would either hit the mute button or put it on speaker and blow my eardrum out! There isn't as much of a "lip" as my iPhone 4s case but it was the best one I could find. Screen is protected good.

This case is so great I have set it on my tool box on my truck and got on he highway with it and it didn't fly off! Ps didn't mean for that to happen and do not recommend trying that

You have to have a case for iphone. This is a good one. Fits as it should, access to ports and buttons. I have drop phone on carpet, cement floor and road and iPhone survived no damage.
