I think before they knew it was on such sale (less than half price lol) so for me it was way worth the price. It is slimmer and lighter than the previous iPhone + Otterboxes ... so I am very pleased with this as it is NOT as bulky or heavy as previous ones.

I did find a heavy duty electric meter holster at our Menards building supply store that really works great if you're in a rough duty job etc. I have nothing but good to say about the Otterbox in general. Very happy.

I think that for the money it is the best all-around product available. They have worked for me for years with no problems and if I had it to do over again, the Otterbox Defender is the product I would buy.

Usually those cases are pretty impenetrable, so it sounds like there is a mysterious gap somewhere that shouldn't be there. Let's leave these problems behind in the dust!
