Not a good fit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously owned the Otterbox Defender for my Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and while the case offered great protection, the interior snaps didn't last and the case never fit well after the first 90 days or so. Again, though, the case offered good protection from accidental drops even if the fit itself was loose at best. Therefore I kept it on my phone. Fast forward 1 ½ years when I purchased the iPhone 7+, and I thought I'd give the Otterbox Defender another shot. Bad choice on my part. The case, as many know, is pretty expensive, so the reasonable expectation is that it is well made, fits the phone precisely, and offers excellent protection. Unfortunately, the case did NOT fit the iPhone 7+ well at all. Specifically, the built-in screen protector was not flush with the iPhone's screen. It was hit or miss as to whether the phone would even register tactile input. Given my previous experience with the Otterbox Defender on my Note 4, I realized that this wasn't the case for me. I returned it post haste and purchased a different brand. Otterbox is a popular brand name that has die hard fans. It just didn't work for me very well.
