This case does not do well in pockets (not just tight pockets but any pocket). The outer skin always wants to peel off when I take it out of my pants pocket. My pockets are not tight fitting, and they aren't jeans. I say it's a decent case if you are in a rough work environment, works even better with the belt clip it comes with.
