I like the otterbox defender because I know from past experience that they are sturdy cases. This particular case for the iPhone 7plus has a feature that my last one didn't; a cover for the home button. The covering on the home button doesn't hinder the use of fingerprint recognition and helps protect from moisture getting underneath the screen protector, unlike other cases that leave the home button uncovered. Although the iPhone 7 is water resistant, moisture under the screen protector causes the touchscreen responsiveness to suffer. I am happy with this choice.
