Love this case for my iPhone. Very sturdy and slim for a defender case. The only issue I have with it is the outer shell. It has a rough texture and catches every piece of dirt around it. With it being a light color, I am constantly wiping it down but after only a month it doesn't want to come completely clean. Will likely purchase the black shell and switch them out.

I love the otter box defender cases but increased removal of the phone from the case (which Otterbox advises consumers to do every so often for cleaning, maintenance and other things) causes the outer protective layer to stretch out and can eventually cause the inner harder shell to protrude out and be exposed. This can be hazardous for the phone especially the screen. Due to previous experiences with the same otterbox defender series only for a different phone I have dealt with the same problem which later caused terrible issues for me. due to the worn out outter layer causing the hard inner layer to no longer be protected when dropped the hard inner layer could come into direct contact with the surface dropped on (my case the floor) Which ended up causing my phones screen to crack and almost shatter. Also the case did not protect that well against debris and dirt from getting in which also resulted in issues with ability to use the home button’s Touch ID function.

I like the otter box case as it does what it is supposed to do by protecting my IPhone 7 plus. My old IPhone 6 had a lifeproof case and I used it often in and under water. I can't wait for the lifeproof case to come out for the IPhone 7 plus so I can utilize this phones awesome camera under water!
